PREREQUISITES: Comfortable navigating and using Windows 10 or Mac system. A knowledge of Facebook is highly desirable, as this class does NOT teach how to use Facebook. It is focused solely on how to set up the security settings of Facebook.

CLASS DESCRIPTION: One 75 minute session
Facebook has an impeccable memory for anything and everything that has been shared about you, either by yourself or your Facebook friends. Considering the recent revelation that 87 million Facebook profiles were harvested by Cambridge Analytica in a major data breach, you might be interested in what Facebook knows about you that may have been revealed. In this class, we will show you how to view and download your Facebook data, and how to delete that data if you wish.
We will also show you how to configure your account to minimize the chance that sensitive personal data might be exposed in the future.
CLASS MATERIALS: Class notes and resources will be available on the classroom computers for you to copy onto a personal Flash drive.
